Tackling connectivity using non-invasive brain stimulation

The integration of functional connectivity and brain stimulation methods has been shown to promote the advances in both fields: in terms of connectivity research TMS can help to understand the interactions between remote brain areas on a new causal level, while network measures can promote guiding and evaluation of TMS application and improve stimulation protocols.

This symposium provides a comprehensive profile on current TMS research. It covers different types of application options in cognitive and clinical neuroscience as well as research on efficacy and TMS mechanism of action. The symposium is meant to enable a translational dialogue and active discussion on chances and difficulties in TMS research.

The meeting will have keynote lectures by leaders in the fields of physiological, psychological research, neurology and psychiatry as well as in technical fields.
