The Tik Group, led by Martin Tik at the Medical University of Vienna, combines transcranial magnetic stimulation with functional MRI to investigate human brain networks. We welcome enquiries from students, researchers and potential collaborators interested in this work.

Research directions
Our work centres on neuroimaging-informed brain stimulation, with several connected areas:
- TMS-fMRI network mapping: measure local and remote responses to a controlled cortical perturbation.
- Chronometric TMS-fMRI: test how stimulation timing and cognitive context shape network responses.
- Individual target engagement: investigate targeting, intensity and brain state.
- Language and cognition, and causal connectomics in epilepsy through EPICONN.
